HLTAID011 -Provide First Aid

HLTAID011 – Provide First Aid is a nationally recognised training course designed to provide participants with the skills and knowledge required to respond to a wide range of medical emergencies and first aid situations. The course includes practical, hands-on training in CPR, use of an automated external defibrillator (AED), and the treatment of common injuries and illnesses such as burns, bleeding, fractures, asthma, allergic reactions, and shock.

Participants will learn how to assess emergency situations, apply the DRSABCD action plan, and provide effective first aid care until professional medical assistance arrives. This course is suitable for workplaces, schools, sporting groups, community organisations, and anyone wanting the confidence and ability to respond in an emergency. Upon successful completion, participants will receive a nationally recognised HLTAID011 – Provide First Aid statement of attainment.
